RIM pun menyatakan bahwa smartphone sudah tertanam OS7 dan juga harga smartphone ini digadang-gadangkan akan dibandrol dengan harga terjangkau. Dilihat dari sekilas smartphone ini pun memiliki gaya slim nan tipis dan berbobotnya pun hanya 99 gram.
